ONLINE GIVING CHANGES

At the beginning of February, we learned that Servant Keeper had completed the project to set up their own online giving program. We have been using the Servant Keeper software since 2007. From the beginning, it became our main data base for keeping up with addresses, birthdays, anniversaries, weekly deposits, and End of the Year Contributions. However, we were limited on how many names we could keep in our system and what all we could store.

Through the years, they have continued to update their product and this month, because we changed over to their online giving software, we now can add as many names and information about a person as we so desire.

However, as they were making all the changes that they have made, they decided that they no longer wanted to partner with EASY TITHE, and of March 1st, we no longer could get access to Easy Tithe through their software.

“Through the Servant Keeper’s Online account, I can see everything that I have given through the year and at any given time. I absolutely love it!”

HOW CAN YOU BENEFIT FROM THE SERVANT KEEPER ONLINE GIVING SOFTWARE?

Whether you give online or at the church, you will want to get connected to Servant Keeper Online Giving. From the moment that you give online, you can see where you have given. As soon as your check or cash given at the church is posted, you can see where you have given.

Plus, you don’t have to wait on your contribution statement any longer. As early as January 1st of each new year, you can print out your end of the year contribution statement. Or if you misplace your statement and you don’t have to wait for another copy to be printed by the treasurer, you can go to your account and print out another statement.

Because we are human, there are times that the one posting your giving may post it incorrectly. By having an online account, you will catch those mistakes sooner and have it corrected quicker.

WHAT CAN YOU NOT DO?

You can not make any changes or corrections on any information on you anything that you have given. When you see something in question, you will need to get in touch with your treasurer and point out the problem that you have discovered concerning your giving record. The treasurer will then see that it is corrected.
