- 9:00 a.m. – FELLOWSHIP HALL SERVICE replaced the “Drive-In” PARKING LOT SERVICE when it began to warm up. Families sit at tables that are spaces six feet or more apart. The individuals that attend this service wear their mask to assure protection to all the elderly that attend. The congregational songs are from the hymnal and when possible, Pastor, Diana, and Ava, sing a special before the message.
10:45 a.m. – SANCTUARY & FACEBOOK LIVE – The sanctuary has been set up where the rows are six feet or more apart from each other. Families can sit together on rows or individuals can set on rows with two chairs between them. The Praise Team leads the worship before pastor brings the message. A volunteer opens the door for those who enter the church for worship, sanitizer is at the entrance as well as mask for those who need them. Coffee is served by a volunteer who wears a mask and gloves. A table is set up in the back of the church for families who attend and Pastor Ava has put together activity packets for the little ones who attend. Those, who are attending this service, are following the Covid-19 guidelines that are on our website, out of respect for others so that everyone attending can feel safe.
4:00 p.m. – ONLINE KID’S WORSHIP SERVICE – When Covid-19 hit, one area of ministry that was hurt the most was are children, youth, and van ministry. Because Pastor Ava could not longer hold services with the Garner children and their families, she chose to go FACEBOOK LIVE with the Garner Ministry. However, due to insufficient access to internet, it became more and more difficult to share LIVE. So, she launched the ONLINE KID’S WORSHIP SERVICE that became the video ministry for Searcy and Garner kids that premiers each Sunday night on both the Searcy Church of the Nazarene Facebook page and the Garner Kids Connection Facebook page. The success of this ministry has been those who have stepped up to help by sharing and participating in the theme of the service each week. This video can be viewed at anytime after 4:00 on Sunday afternoon.
5:30 p.m. – NAZ KIDS CLUBHOUSE is a 30 minute video that can be seen on the Searcy Church of the Nazarene Facebook page. During the video, Pastor Ava host a Bible Trivia game. Those watching are challenged to see if they can answer the trivia question before Pastor Ava’s animated characters answers it. If you like games that challenge your Bible knowledge and facts, you will want to view this video each week. It is viewed as a premier at 5:30 p.m. each Wednesday but can be watched at any time after the premier.

6:30 ADULT BIBLE STUDY MINISTRY. Diana, the Bible Study teacher, host a ministry for the ladies weekly. She is now sharing the study at the church in the fellowship hall that is set up for social distancing. Those who attend where mask and enjoy spending that time together. Diana also makes it possible for those who can not attend to join into the fellowship and study through Facebook. You can find her weekly lessons on Diana Appleby Beaty’s Facebook page. Join us each week in the fellowship hall or on Facebook and grow in Christ through the rich studies that is shared.

Pastor, who leads this ministry, has now made it possible for men to join him at the church in the sanctuary where you can spread out and practice social distance. He also has made it possible for those who can not attend the church to join his study on Searcy Church of the Nazarene Facebook page as well as ZOOM. Men, you are invited to join Pastor in the sanctuary each Wednesday or through media. Their studies are very rich with a lot of input from those who are present and on Zoom.
8:00 a.m. – MEN’S PRAYER BREAKFAST – Each week, the men from the Searcy Church of the Nazarene and men from the community, come together to fellowship, study the WORD and pray together concerning the needs at hand. Pastor, Diana and some of the men put together a weekly breakfast for the men. During this period, in the history of the church, they are practicing social distancing as the meet Pastor has set the fellowship hall up where anyone can come in an find a place that is 6 feet or more apart from those around them. Any man that would like to be a part of this ministry is more than welcome.
